The Stoehr Center
Description
The Stoehr Center is a women’s health and functional medicine practice in Frisco, Texas, founded by Dr. Angie Stoehr, MD, FACOG. Dr. Stoehr is a board-certified OB/GYN who trained at Creighton University School of Medicine and has built a practice centered on a root-cause, functional approach to women’s health — moving beyond symptom management to identify and address underlying contributors to pelvic pain, hormonal imbalance, metabolic dysfunction, and sexual wellness. The practice operates on a concierge care model, offering longer appointments, direct provider access, and transparent cash-pay pricing with no insurance barriers. Dr. Stoehr is a published author (“When it Hurts Down There”; “The WIHDT Cookbook”) and has been featured in Woman’s World, CBS Texas, D Magazine, and several sexual health and women’s wellness podcasts.
About the Physician
Dr. Stoehr earned her medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). Her career began at a federally funded health center where she observed how consistently pelvic pain was undertreated — dismissed, misdiagnosed, or managed only with prescriptions. She built The Stoehr Center to be a refuge for patients who have tried everything and found no relief elsewhere. Her approach integrates functional medicine principles — understanding the patient’s full health story, diet, lifestyle, and physiology — with evidence-based procedural and hormonal treatments. Cherry financing is available, and EMVITAL wellness programs offer bundled treatment pathways.
Services Offered
- Hormone Therapy — Individualized hormone optimization for perimenopause and menopause, addressing fatigue, mood changes, libido, weight gain, and brain fog using bioidentical and conventional hormone therapy protocols.
