About the Physician

Dr. Jeffrey A. Elting, MD, MPH, MS, is a West Point Military Academy graduate who earned his medical degree alongside advanced degrees in public health and medical science, and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society — the highest academic distinction in American medicine. He served as the first board-certified family physician to hold the position of White House Physician, personally overseeing the health of the Commander in Chief before going on to serve as Medical Director of the DC Hospital Association.
