About the Physician

Dr. Payne earned his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, then completed an Internal Medicine internship followed by an Anesthesiology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, where he served as Chief Resident and was voted Outstanding Fourth Year Resident. After relocating to the Denver metro area and practicing anesthesiology for several years, Dr. Payne grew increasingly frustrated with a system he felt treated patients as commodities. His subsequent work at the Vein Care Institute and MEND in Lakewood deepened his interest in whole-health medicine, ultimately leading him to found Longevity Integrative Wellness Center. His mission: live longer, better, stronger — and help his patients do the same by addressing root causes of dysfunction rather than masking symptoms with pharmaceuticals.
