Healthspan Utah
Description
Healthspan Utah is Heber Valley's first direct primary care (DPC) practice, founded by Dr. Erika Noonan, MD, FAAFP, NCMP — a board-certified family physician with over 15 years of clinical experience, fellowship training in both Geriatrics and Integrative Medicine, and certification as a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner. Built on the belief that patients deserve better — better access, better answers, and better outcomes — Healthspan Utah replaces the assembly-line model of conventional medicine with something genuinely different: longer visits, direct physician access, transparent pricing, and care rooted in the full complexity of what it means to age well. Serving patients in person in Heber Valley and via telehealth throughout all of Utah, Dr. Noonan brings longevity science, hormonal expertise, and a deep commitment to whole-person healing to every encounter.
About the Physician
Dr. Erika Noonan, MD, FAAFP, NCMP, earned her undergraduate degree in Nutrition Science — a foundation that continues to inform every aspect of her clinical practice — before pursuing her medical degree and completing advanced fellowship training in both Geriatrics and Integrative Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, two distinctions reflecting her deep expertise in areas most family physicians only superficially address. With over 15 years of clinical experience, Dr. Noonan also serves as an assistant professor, teaching medical students and residents — a role that keeps her sharp and current. She founded Healthspan Utah because she saw what was missing: a practice where prevention, longevity, and whole-person healing aren't buzzwords but the actual blueprint for care — every single day.
Services Offered
- Direct Primary Care (DPC) Membership — A membership model ($150/month plus a one-time $200 enrollment fee) providing unlimited in-person and telehealth visits, in-office testing, and direct access to Dr. Noonan — no insurance delays, no rushed appointments, no surprise bills.
- Longevity Evaluations — A truly in-depth assessment combining comprehensive labs, family history, sleep quality, cognitive function, and musculoskeletal health to give patients a complete picture of their biological age and risk profile — with an individualized roadmap for aging well.
- Dementia Prevention Evaluations — Drawing on her fellowship training in Geriatrics, Dr. Noonan offers advanced cognitive risk assessments, validated screening tools, and personalized brain health strategies to help patients preserve cognitive function early — when prevention is still most effective.
- Menopause & Perimenopause Care — One of Dr. Noonan's deepest areas of expertise: individualized, evidence-based hormone therapy (or non-hormonal alternatives if preferred) for women navigating the hormonal transition, with careful attention to cardiovascular, bone, cognitive, and metabolic health.
- Weight Management — Thoughtful, evidence-based weight care integrating InBody body composition tracking, GLP-1 therapy (semaglutide, tirzepatide) where clinically appropriate, and nutritional guidance rooted in Dr. Noonan's Nutrition Science background — included for DPC members or available as a standalone service.
- Hormone Optimization — Comprehensive hormonal evaluation and individualized management for both men and women, including evidence-based testosterone therapy for women, addressing fatigue, mood, libido, bone health, and overall vitality through precision hormonal care.
- Integrative Medicine — Evidence-based integrative approaches drawing on Dr. Noonan's fellowship training, combining the best of conventional medicine with proven complementary therapies for whole-person chronic disease prevention and health optimization.
- Preventive Primary Care — Ongoing primary care with a longevity focus: chronic disease management, preventive screenings, medication management, and direct physician access that allows care to evolve continuously alongside each patient's changing needs and health goals.
